Shrikant has been performing, teaching and conducting Bharatanatyam dance workshops for nearly 2 decades in the UK. A passionate dancer, choreographer and story teller, he has worked his way through the evolutionary process of performance to instruction to composition. He is lives and works as a creative practitioner from Knaresborough in North Yorkshire where he trains various students in Bharatanatyam and spoken word /Theatrical paradigms through his SS Dance Academy and continues to perform at galleries, museums , libraries, schools and cutting edge venues on various funded and commissioned projects.
He travels around the UK to promote and develop his inter cultural performances and continues to develop his creative practise in other countries like Switzerland and Australia when the opportunity arises.
