Discover the home of storytelling in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Settle Stories is based in the beautiful market town of Settle, North Yorkshire, a place rich in history, creativity and community. Whether you’re joining us for an event at The Joinery, exploring our Listening Gallery, taking part in a workshop, or simply enjoying the charm of Settle itself, a visit to us offers something warm, imaginative and uniquely Yorkshire.
You’ll find us right in the centre of town, at: The Joinery, Dawsons Court, Market Place, Settle, North Yorkshire, BD24 9ED. We’re tucked just behind the Old Naked Man Café and next to Boots – simply come up the stairs and say hello.
Getting here is easy. We are a five-minute walk from Settle Train Station and around twenty-five minutes from Giggleswick Station. Major bus routes stop close by, making public transport a convenient option for visitors. While we have limited on-site parking reserved for staff, we recommend parking at Booths car park, which is only a short walk away.
We love welcoming visitors – locals, travellers, families, artists and anyone curious about the power of story. If you’re planning a trip to Settle or exploring the Yorkshire Dales, make us part of your visit. Come experience the creativity, community and warm Yorkshire spirit that shape everything we do.
