Ingrid Nixon tells stories, writes films, guides people to far-flung places like the North Pole and the Antarctic, where she tells even more stories. She holds a masters in Storytelling, leads workshops, and performs at festivals, including the National Storytelling Festival. When home in Alaska, where she had a long career as National Park Service ranger, Ingrid produces and hosts “Story Borealis” – radio program dedicated to the art of oral storytelling on National Public Radio affiliate, KBBI.org.
