EMILY HENNESSEY is a dynamic performance storyteller often found wielding a stick and stamping her feet as she embraces epics, myths, wondertales and folktales from across the world. She’s toured from Iceland to Japan and across Europe.
Work and travel in India have kindled in Emily a great love of Hindu mythology. With a Swedish background, Emily also has a passion for the Norse Myths and Scandinavian folklore. (She was, in fact, born on a little island in the Baltic sea and raised by trolls.)
She now lives in the Lake District with her family. Here she runs the Stealing Thunder Storytelling Festival.
