Mabel Ros was born and raised in Spain, where she studied arts, design and animation and moved to the United Kingdom when she was 22. She learned English and graduated with a degree in art history and creative writing. Ros is now merging her art and writing worlds.
She tells stories with paintings and illustrates books that tell stories – occasionally, she also writes them.
