Every gift keeps a story alive.
Story is nourishment. Not just entertainment. Right now, some children haven’t found themselves in a story. Some artists can’t afford to develop their craft. Some community voices risk being lost. You can change that.
We serve schools regardless of ability to pay. We keep the Listening Gallery open to anyone who walks through the door. We pay artists fairly and train the next generation of storytellers. None of this happens without people who, like us, believe story is essential. It matters for children, for community, for the world we want to live in.
Here’s what your gift makes possible:
£5: You keep the Listening Gallery lit and open for a day, free for every visitor who steps inside.
£10: You give a whole school access to Stories for Schools for a week , 190 days a year, £2.10 a day, stories in classrooms every morning.
£20: You support one artist to attend our group mentoring sessions, helping them build a sustainable creative career.
£50: You subsidise one place on StoryLab for an artist who couldn’t otherwise afford it, opening a door that might change everything.
£100: You take a storyteller’s performance and put it in front of every child who subscribes to Stories for Schools, today, next year, and the year after. Filming and editing are paid once. The story lasts forever.
£250: You bring a story to life, commissioning the illustrations that turn a filmed performance into something a child will never forget.
£400: You give a whole school a year of Stories for Schools, 200+ professionally filmed, curriculum-aligned stories, available to every teacher, every class, every day of the school year.
Every gift is used with care and gratitude. We are a registered charity (No. 1141649). All donations are eligible for Gift Aid.
