Join vocal coach and theatre director Barbara Houseman in this Settle Stories course that will explore how to ensure that your vocal health is kept in shape enhancing your communication which is ideal for everything from performances to business meetings.
With over 40 years in theatre, Barbara Houseman is a leading voice, text, and acting coach. She spent six years in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Voice Department, working alongside Cicely Berry and Andrew Wade, and later became Associate Director at the Young Vic. For over two decades, she has freelanced as a Voice Coach and Director, working with top actors like Daniel Radcliffe, Jude Law, and Jessie Buckley.
Her West End credits include The Ferryman, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Macbeth, and Les Liaisons Dangereuses. She is also the author of Finding Your Voice and Tackling Text [and Subtext] and has created digital Masterclasses on voice and text work.
Barbara’s approach integrates her training in mindfulness, NLP, and healing practices, offering a holistic, practical method for vocal health and performance. Her course provides invaluable tools to unlock the full potential of the voice.
