We all want to be happier. Right?
Why are we no happier now than we were decades ago? The Festival of Happiness asked people to break the mould, even if just for one day and celebrate happiness.
The event included over 20 FREE taster sessions and workshops by local clubs and groups so locals could discover the diverse range of activities available to them in their community.
The Festival of Happiness also boasted a range of professional entertainment. With opportunities to travel to Sierra Leone with stories from Usifu Jalloh and Alim Kamara. Danish comedian Sofie Hagan who’ll have you laughing in the aisles. Dance the night away at our ceilidh.
Nearly all events were free and the event was made possible thanks to funding the Big Lottery Fund and our corporate sponsor Giggleswick School.
