SUMMARY:Robin Hood and the Silver Arrow: National Storytelling Week Event for KS1
DESCRIPTION:A free story for KS1\, made for your Year 1 and Year 2 children to celebrate National Storytelling Week. \nDeep in Sherwood Forest\, Robin and his merry men hear news of an archery contest\, hosted by the cruel Sheriff of Nottingham\, with a gleaming silver arrow as the prize. Maid Marian’s sure it’s a trap. Robin’s sure he can win it. So he pulls on a disguise\, shuffles into Nottingham as a bent old man\, and steps up to take his shot. Will his disguise hold\, and can the best archer in England outwit the Sheriff? \nThere’s daring\, disguise and a chase that’ll have your class on the edge of the carpet\, all pitched just right for five to seven year olds. It’s a brilliant fit for traditional tales in English\, with ready-made talk about pride\, listening to good advice and friends who stick by you. \nBook your free place today\, settle everyone down to watch after lunch\, and let the adventure do the rest.
