Class 4T with Mrs Thewlitt

Silence! Silliness! And oh, what a lot of fun! Join Class 4T in a history lesson

It’s time for class. Journey back in time to Yorkshire in the 1960s. Welcome to class 4T. Mrs Thewlitt, your teacher and your fellow classmates Tony (the sleepy one), Mary (the one that’s always hungry), Veronica (the class clown), and Eric (the brainbox) are all waiting for you to join them.

It’s the first term back, and Mrs Thewlitt is teaching her class about one of the most iconic landmarks in the Yorkshire Dales, the Ribblehead Viaduct.

Did you know it’s 150 years since the navvies started building it? Do you know what a navvy is? Do you know how stone arches stick together in a viaduct? Well come and find out! Arms folded, fingers on lips and turn on your listening ears… it’s time to join Mrs Thewlitt and her class as they explore their thrilling new topic through story, poetry and song.

Expect a bit of a riot along the way as poor Eric gets into bother with the dinner ladies, Tony tries to keep awake, and Mary finds the most surprising things to eat in the classroom.

Enjoy a different lesson each time.
