Mel Taylor

Mel Taylor of Playful Being has a background in teaching English and Drama. She's a qualified teacher and has led workshops in a number of education settings, as well as being involved in outreach and aspiration-raising work. In late 2012, Mel realised her own aspirations were badly in need of some attention. She made some pretty big changes in her professional life and is now a writer, tutor and creative facilitator who leads improvisation and creative play workshops for adults. Playfulness has been key to her process of change and development. Through comedy improvisation and clowning, Mel is pursuing what lights her up. She is living a fuller, more engaged life and wants to show others how they can do the same.
