Little Man Jack

Join Jack on his quest to please his poor mother. Meet his magical friends and the creatures that sometimes help and sometimes hinder his journey.

Storyteller Ursula Holden Gill transports one of England's oldest and most well-loved children's story characters firmly into the 21st century with seamlessly interwoven tale telling and heaps of interaction.

First commmisioned by Opera North's Education department in 2017.

An immersive journey for 7’s and under.

Ursula interacts with her young audience to raise tension and suspense to a great pitch before steering the story safely and seamlessly towards its happy ending. The children did not want it to finish! They could not wrench themselves back to reality!Seven Stories National Storytelling Museum
