Storytelling

Storytelling day with award-winning storyteller Tamar Eluned Williams

Imagine keeping your friends on the edge of their seats as you wow them with amazing stories.

Come prepared for energetic, enjoyable workshops and games. This is a great opportunity to flex your performance muscles. Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do. Telling stories can be nerve wracking at first but it's something that each and every one of us can become an expert at doing. Tamar will pass on her storytelling skills to help you tell stories like a pro.

The day will be filled with fun improvisation games and by the end of the day you'll have created your own story using inspiration from around Settle. At the end of the day you'll have a mini performance to be proud of.

More about the facilitator, Tamar Eluned Williams

Tamar Eluned Williams is an award-winning storyteller from Wales. She tells stories in the Welsh oral tradition, and other stories from much further afield. She was awarded the national Young Storyteller of the Year award in 2013, and the Gwobr Esyllt Harker Award by Beyond the Border International Storytelling Festival in 2016.
